Arizona Birth Records: Discover Your Loved One's True Identity

Birth records are considered part of a state and local government's vital records database, stored for the public to freely examine and use for their own research and information. These records often include copies of official birth certificates, which will provide you with the following information:

  • Date and place of birth
  • Full birth name
  • Full names of parents and their personal identifying information

Search Arizona Birth Records at SearchBirthRecord.com

Though the state of Arizona began its vital recording of significant events, such as births, deaths and marriages, in July 1909, it had evidences of prior birth records occurring between 1884 and 1887. If you wish to obtain birth records after July 1909, you may contact the State Office of Vital Records of the Arizona Department of Health Services. These documents, however, are restricted and thus, never shared as public records. Hence, only legible applicants are entertained, like those whose name appears on the certificate or those who have proof that they are an immediate family member or a legal representative. Aside from personally visiting their office to avail of the same-day service (only accommodates requests of births from 1900 up to the present), you may also use their mailing service (15 to 20 days processing), which accepts rush processing. Moreover, an applicant must be at least 18 years old, and must submit a completed application form along with a photocopy of valid government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or driver's license, and the appropriate fee, which may be paid via money order or cashier's check made payable to the Office of Vital Records. In addition to their walk-in and mailing service, you may also process your documents online, wherein all major credit cards are accepted. With an online service, you may experience faster and more convenient transaction of your documents.
